How to Upload DVD Movie to iCloud on Mac
iCloud stores your photos, music, documents and more and wirelessly & seamlessly pushes
them to your iDevice. However, it’s too early to say "DVD to iCloud".
Why? According to LATimes and Wall Street Journal, Apple is still working on adding
movies to iCloud and finalizing deals with major movie studios that would allow iTunes
customers to stream purchased movies to their devices. But all that are limited to
movies purchased from iTunes, how about our homemade DVDs and other purchased DVDs? If
you already have the DVD, will you purchase once again from iTunes in order to store in
iCloud and sync to iPad, iPod and iPhone?
No. I would definitely prefer other way – Mac DVD Ripper.
Its a program that copies DVD dates and encodes them in another way that iDevice could
easily understand. ie. Mac DVD Ripper rips DVD to MP4 that iPod, iPad, iPhone and even
iTunes could read easily. With Mac DVD Ripper, we can keep our DVD Disc from scratches;
we can watch our DVD movies on iDevice(iPod, iPad and iPhone) anytime and anywhere;
Now let me explain how Mac DVD Ripper works.
Step 1: Download and install Mac DVD Ripper.
Step 2: Click the "Load DVD" or "Load IFO" button to load DVD folders/IFO files to the
Step 3: Select the video/audio format you want from the "Profile" drop down list.
ie. "Apple iPad > iPad MPEG4 Video (*.mp4)"".
Step 4: Set the output destination from "Destination".
Step 5: Click the big "Convert" button to start ripping DVD to iCloud on Mac. The amount
of time it takes will depend on the file format and size of the DVD but it will take a
while no matter what.
